In 250 words, please prepare for me a paper that includes strong and valuable new initiatives that can be done between the United Arab Emirates and two countries from Latin America, which are Nicaragua and the Bahamas. Five different initiatives for each country would be great (so, total 10 initiatives, and with a small description under each initiative, and please mention why is it important for both sides). The initiatives can be in any field that is important and vital for both sides (UAE and Nicaragua) (UAE and the Bahamas). Plus, under each initiative, please mention 2-3 short reasons on why you chose this initiative. And for the sources, please do not type them as APA, since this is not a research paper, it’s just an informal assignment. So, just add them as links at the end of the paper.

Please complete the Position papers as follows: Position papers should provide a thoughtful critique of an argument presented in one or more of the required readings for the upcoming class. Students are strongly encouraged to draw on their knowledge of real word cases/evidence or outside reading to support their critique, which may be favorable or unfavorable, of a point made in the required reading. I’ve uploaded any reading we need in full, two examples have also been uploaded. You can choose any of your favorite readings as a source to write about. good luck.

Step 1 – Post an initial response to the questions below by Thursday. If appropriate, include personal experience in your response.
Discussion Question:
In what circumstances, if any, is preventive war a good policy? What criteria should be used in evaluating this question?
How do terrorism and weapons of mass destruction alter the security dilemma and the incentive to strike first? How might states behave in a world in which preventive war was considered legal?
Step 2 -Make at least two substantive responses by Sunday. Respond to at least two posts by adding clarification, asking questions, or adding constructively to the discussion. Your responses may be a combination of comments to your classmates and/or your instructor.

Step 1 – Post an initial response to the questions below by Thursday. If appropriate, include personal experience in your response.
Discussion Question:
As you read this case study about drone strikes, consider chapter 9 in the text and the infographic below. The “war” against terrorism threatens to undermine much of the international law of war that has existed since the seventeenth century. The fundamental problem in applying the law of war to terrorism and insurgency is that the law of war relies heavily on a clear distinction between who is a combatant and who is not, whereas insurgent and terrorist strategies depend on erasing that distinction. The U.S. government has adopted a strategy of using commando attacks and drones to attack terrorists around the world. Brennan argued that drone strikes meet four basic requirements for the legal use of force:
1. The principle of necessity (target must have military value)
2. The principle of distinction (only military objectives targeted)
3. The principle of proportionality (force proportional to military gain)
4. The principle of humanity (weapons cause no unnecessary suffering)
Critics raise concerns with Brennan’s argument. The U.S. approach leaves it up to the United States to determine who is a legitimate target and who is not. There is no international legal standard. Of particular concern is the use of profile attacks, in which a target is not a culpable individual, but a person or group, that fits the profile.
What is the best way to balance the need to combat terrorism with the desire to maintain clear limits on who can be attacked and where attacks can take place? How should states balance the desire to follow international law with the goal of protecting themselves from attacks?
Step 2 – Make at least two substantive responses by Sunday. Respond to at least two posts by adding clarification, asking questions, or adding constructively to the discussion. Your responses may be a combination of comments to your classmates and/or your instructor.

This assignment is a final thesis for an intelligence and counterintelligence co

This assignment is a final thesis for an intelligence and counterintelligence course. It will discuss specific cases of intelligence information theft between China and the United States. Specific requirements below.
3000-5000 word paper on an intelligence case study (foreign or American) or an aspect of intelligence you find compelling, to be chosen in consultation with the instructor. The subject will complement/illuminate the subjects covered in the course. This paper will be a readable and interesting short academic research paper, with footnotes/endnotes and a bibliography. This paper should have endnotes and references in the Chicago style https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/717/01/. Additional information, not citations, should be in footnotes.
My topic of choice is: How China Steals/Counter-steals US intelligence. You can freely choose whether to focus on stealing intelligence or counter-stealing, you can only choose one. Also, I would suggest however that you try to focus it a bit since the paper is not very long. So maybe focus on a specific type of activity, or some specific cases. Professors will be looking for more specific topics rather than broad texts. It is therefore important to be able to find specific cases as research objects.
Textbooks and all reading materials have been uploaded and are free for you to use. Please let me know if you have any questions, thanks.
