Nurses can provide general education to the young males in the society, as most of the communities have focused so much on the welfare of the girls leaving behind the boys. Nurses can fill in the gap that exists by giving them the necessary information on their health (Kozon, 2016). They can teach them on disease prevention strategy and how to overcome health challenges that are specific to males.
They could engage them on issues such as sexual reproduction, which help improve male sexual reproduction health. These nurses, moreover, could teach the boys about sexually transmitted infections and how to prevent unplanned pregnancies. They could also provide health items such as condoms and other forms of planning that improves their sexual health (Lambert, 2016). They should make the young males understand they could face critical sexual reproduction challenges, which are common at their age.
Nurses can identify and address health inequalities facing young men, and they can research on the health challenges and forward the information to the authorities. Once they have identified the issues, they could petition for equal health opportunities for young males (Lambert, 2016). They could then implement the solutions that close the inequality gap among the males.

Boston, ma: houghton mifflin company.

“According to child development specialists, one of the most accurate ways to learn about children is to observe them in daily activities” (Wortham, 2012, p. 117).  Among the many types of observation discussed in Chapter 5, anecdotal records, running records, time sampling, and event sampling are widely used in schools and centers across the nation.  For this discussion, you will begin to develop a plan for the observation types you will use in your written assignment this week, which involves the observation of an actual child.  Here is what you are asked to do:
1. Choose either anecdotal or running records.  Describe the record type and explain its characteristics.  Discuss whether you will be observing social/emotional development, physical development, cognitive development, or language development (choose one), and what the purposes are for assessing that domain.
2. Next, choose either time sampling or event sampling.  Describe the sampling method and tell what its characteristics are. Discuss whether you will be observing social/emotional development, physical development, cognitive development or language development (choose one that is a different domain from above) and what the purposes are for assessing that domain.
Attached is an example of the anecdotal and running record as well as the time and event sampling.

An example of a rhetorical fallacy used in the workplace that i have experienced is making decisions or jumping to conclusion about an incident without gathering all the details or facts.

1. Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words:
What is an example of a rhetorical strategy or rhetorical fallacy that you might hear in the workplace? How might you use reasoning to counteract these arguments?
2. Do a response to the following in at least 175 words
I believe that we see all types of rhetorical fallacies in the workplace. A common fallacy I see in the workplace is people telling stories that you know are not true, but you also cannot disprove them. I know that people will say that they have done things in their past that sounds unbelievable. However, you cannot prove them right or wrong so you have to choose to accept what they say. I know this ties back to the earlier study of dishonesty. I know that this also can happen with management. They can tell you different statements that you know to be false, but you cannot tell your supervisor they are wrong. This kind shows multiple fallacies.
3. Do a response to the following in at least 175 words
An example of a rhetorical fallacy used in the workplace that I have experienced is making decisions or jumping to conclusion about an incident without gathering all the details or facts. Some of my peers avoid performing more research on a situation because they are in a hurry to get off from work or, just simply neglect to understand the incident fully and are quick to make decisions to change a process. More often than not, we end up changing the process again because not enough information was gathered to make a change in the first place, and so it continues evolve. Trying to use and find the reasoning behind the decision making takes some work and time to make sure everything makes sense. Some of the negative situations that we have incurred in the past and even more lately could have all been prevented if some of the processes were better put together. I think that this example states the obvious but I feel that it has now become a normal thing to do all the time.

Generation y or millennial: born between 1980 and 1995.

The following post is from another student. Please react adding other extra imformation relate to the post.
Short answer
Less than 10 % similarity

1 . In USA, minorities have been a very important quota in the sociocultural environment of the country. But over the years they have had to endure acts of discrimination. The nursing program has not been the exception. Minorities have had to overcome many barriers over the years, including: inferior academic preparation, financial problems, lack of tutoring opportunities, inadequate social support, among other barriers that slow down the learning cycle and in turn they demotivate the knowledge drive they have.
2 . In today’s organizations, including in the medical field, up to four or five generations can coexist in the same work team.
Each has a different way of interrelation, of communicating, not only at the level of language (oral or written) but also in ways of moving, manners, including everything related to the use of individual spaces, the way of dressing and approaching the partner . Let’s start by naming the 4 generations that are present in the nursing community today, highlighting the details that differentiate them from each other:
Veterans: Born between 1922 and 1943. Some of the characteristics of those belonging to this generation are the following: dedication and sacrifice, hard work, conformism, respect for authority, patients, duty before pleasure, following the rules and honor. They are very traditional and conservative people.  They suffered the consequences of the great depression and two world wars so they are the perfect reference for a generation that has endured great world events and they are here to tell. They are loyal to their convictions and find it difficult to get out of their comfort zone and take the first step to change the way they do things.
Boomers: Born between 1944-1964. In general, they are people loyal to the company, with a focus on processes, looking for challenging and meaningful opportunities to continue growing at work and continue learning. Service oriented and formal “face to face” communication. In addition, they consider their current company as the only one in their entire career. What they value most is a company that can give them security and stability.
Generation X: Born between 1965-1979. It brings together the spirit of cooperation as an engine of growth for the success of a company. They cannot be considered as digital natives because the technology at that time was rather limited and they are not considered Boomers because they were not born immediately after the end of World War II. This is what makes it a bridge generation, but which, unlike the rest, stands out for its power of conciliation, for its virtues of dialogue. It is about a generation that is committed to the world and that has lived marked by the emergence of consumerism. They tend to be flexible, adaptable, with general development interest, independent, creative and with the idea of changing systems
Generation Y or Millennial: Born between 1980 and 1995. Very sociable and technological. Flexible scheme and constant feedback. Always prioritizing the balance of work with your personal life. This generation is characterized by looking for a job that makes them happy. In addition, they do not commit to any organization and are not afraid of a change at work. They like to undertake and make decisions and value knowledge over formalities. They adapt to the changing pace of projects without caring about failure.
3 . In a work environment in which 4 generations coexist daily, problems of different kinds will arise. Each one has a totally different personality and more if this different personality is added to the characteristics of their generational age, the situation will become a little more delicate. Lack of trust between one and the other.
The evidence seems to indicate that there are some areas associated with nursing performance in which there is an influence of belonging to a generation, such as the level of satisfaction, the use of technology and the courtesy guidelines considered adequate by people.
The issue ofthe use of technology is a recurring problem between generations, since thereare some such as X and Y that are much easier for them, the boomer generations and the old school generation take a long time to be able to answer or attend to the calls and messages sent by other team members.
In the same way, the treatment of patients is sometimes marked by each generation, for example Veterans tends to have a more formal treatment but with a cold tone, while Generation X tends to have treatment marked by freshness and spontaneity.
Teamwork can also be a determining factor, some generations, such as Veterans and Boomers, tend to be more committed to their performance and to their company than generations Y and X. These situations generally create internal conflicts.

Nursing delegation to unlicensed assistive personnel in the school setting: principles of practice.

Unlicensed assistive personnel are very important within the medical field. They do not hold any certification or license but they do receive a training that provide them with the knowledge to provide care always under the supervision of a registered nurse. There exist many duties that an UAP can perform to collaborate with patient’s care. Unlicensed assistive personnel can be employed to work as nursing assistants, clerks, health aides, lab techs and certified nursing assistants (Bobo, 2014).  According to Wu et al., (2017) there are six actions that should be implemented in order to further educate the UAP and prepare them for safe practice. These actions should be included in health policy to help to create national and state policy for UAPs. These actions or steps are stage setting, which is the first step, policy formulation, adoption following by implementation, evaluation and termination as the last one.
The first step is stage setting, and this is the stage in which the existing issue will be addressed and discussed. The second stage is policy formulation, on this stage, the responsible party will develop a plan or strategy that will better solver the current problem. The third stage will seek the acceptance of the policy by the federal and state. Following the implementation of the policy, an evaluation of the policy will be necessary to ensure the correct functioning of the intended purpose. The last step of the process will be the termination of an obsolete and expired policy that’s no longer useful.   The delegation of the different tasks on an UAP will depend of their experience and skills. Therefore, an evaluation of their skills, abilities and also their level of education should be always evaluated before to delegate any major responsibility.
According to the American Nursing Association (Josephsen, 2013) there exists general keys that the nurse manager should review with the RN in order to for the registered nurse to understand what tasks should be delegated to the UAP.  Examples of these general keys are that the registered nurse can delegate tasks that are not within the nursing process. Even though many tasks can be delegated to the nursing assistant, it’s important for the RN to know that they are the ones taking responsibility for the patient’s safety. In addition, the RN will always be in charge and will determine the correct and adequate provision of care. It is responsibility of the registered nurse to evaluate the UAP skills, experiences and competencies before to delegate any tasks. Besides of delegation, it is also fundamental to establish the evaluation and monitoring the competency levels that will determine the levels of tasks that can be delegated.
